At Rusty Ridge Animal Center, playtime is the highlight of the day—and we take it seriously (the fun part, too!). Our dogs enjoy supervised indoor and outdoor play areas designed for safe adventures, happy zoomies, and lots of tail wags. Our fully fenced outdoor yards feature soft, hypoallergenic turf that’s gentle on paws and perfect for rolling, running, and lounging in the sunshine—all without the mud or mess.
When it’s time to head inside, our spacious playrooms are fully climate-controlled for year-round comfort. An oversized air-exchange system continuously brings in filtered outdoor air, so even indoor play feels fresh and breezy.
Our feline friends have their own special fun, too! Cats enjoy individualized care in our thoughtfully designed Scratching Post play area, where they can climb, jump, stretch, or simply bird-watch in a calm, cozy, temperature-controlled space made just for them.
Cleanliness and safety are always top priorities. Playrooms are deep-cleaned and sanitized multiple times each day, and our flooring—along with our turf—is designed to be easy on paws, hips, and joints, making it especially comfortable for our senior campers. Every play space is fully supervised by our highly trained team, who know how to read even the tiniest tail flicks and ear twitches. If someone needs a breather, we’re happy to press pause and offer a little quiet time.
Think of daycare as school—but way more fun. Your four-legged family member gets a day filled with play, enrichment, and friends, or their very own vacation when paired with one of our luxurious lodging suites. Pets are carefully grouped by size, temperament, and play style to keep everyone safe, confident, and happy!
